A ripple in spacetime produced by accelerating massive objects, detected on Earth by laser interferometers.

Merging black holes and neutron stars shake spacetime. LIGO, Virgo, and KAGRA detect those ripples. When light arrives too, the event becomes multi-messenger astronomy.
